  Jeuveau Cosmetic offers individuals with wrinkles smoother skin and a natural, more well-rested appearance.  As the years go by, facial muscles beneath the skin contract with every facial expression and eventually form “dynamic” wrinkles such as frown lines between the brows, horizontal brow furrows, crow’s feet, bunny lines and more! These “dynamic” wrinkles deepen with age and often create a terse, stressed appearance. Jeuveau injections relax select muscles in the face and limit their ability to contract.

  Jeuveau is injected only by our highly trained medical professionals. The injection sites will appear slightly raise, but will go away in less than a half hour. Full results will take place 14 days after Jeuveau is performed.

We can treat forehead lines, crow’s feet, bunny lines, 11’s, lip lines, a gummy smile, masters, dimpled chin and platysmal bands. We can also do lip flips.

For 3-5 days before treatment, avoid blood thinners like NSAIDs (including Advil, aspirin, and Aleve) and fish oils. Any blood thinning medication can increase the risk of bruising and swelling after your Jeuveau treatment. If you need to take an over-the-counter pain reliever, take Tylenol instead.

Avoid alcohol for a few days before your Jeuveau injection to lower your risk of bruising.

Pause your retinol regimen for two days before Jeuveau.

Leave your treatment area alone. Avoid any physical pressure, laying down on your face, or rubbing on the area of injection for a few days. You don’t need to avoid making any facial expressions, however; frowning, smiling, and other facial expressions can help encourage your Jeuveau results to show up sooner!

Don’t lie down for the first few hours after your Jeuveau.

Wait 24 hours to work out or exert yourself after Jeuveau. By raising your blood pressure, exercise can both increase your risk for bruising or swelling and increase the chances of the product spreading rather than remaining in the area your injector intended.

Avoid UV exposure and excessive heat. Sun exposure can prolong redness or swelling after Jeuveau, so protect your skin with sunscreen and good sun protection practices. Also avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, or other activities that involve lots of heat.

Don’t drink alcohol for 24 hours after injections as it can increase the risk of bruising.

Continue to avoid blood thinners for 24 hours after Jeuveau.

Wait two days to re-introduce retinol into your skincare routine.

Though most patients report few if any side effects, the most commonly reported is a slight redness that disappears within an hour after treatment. Consult with your provider for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment

There is no downtime associated with Jeuveau.
